Michael Brondino, Ph.D.

CABHR scientist and associate professor, HBSSW

Dr. Brondino is an associate professor of social work in the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. At CABHR, he provides methodological and statistical support for CABHR-affiliated researchers.

His interests include test development, the readability of questionnaire items, and intervention improvement, mental health services, HIV/STD prevention, and alcohol and drug prevention programming. Since 1992 he has provided methodological consultation and worked as an investigator on grant projects funded by the National of Mental Health, the National Institute on Drug Abuse, the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, the National of Justice, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration/Center for Mental Health Services, and the Administration on Children, Youth and Families.

Dr. Brondino holds a doctorate in social and quantitative psychology from the University of South Carolina, and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from UW-Milwaukee.
