Who Should Apply?

Partnerships whose projects predominantly benefit the residents of Milwaukee County are eligible for a grant.

Any UWM group and nonprofit community organization working jointly on a cultural, community development, service learning or educational program or project.

The ideal grant application centers on an educational or cultural project that brings together a UWM undergraduate course or program with nonprofit community resources such as museums, neighborhood improvement groups, community centers, and health agencies.

 *Please note: If you need assistance, the Cultures and Communities staff will facilitate project development by helping to link community groups with appropriate UWM faculty or programs.
