Established in 1971, the UWM Children's Center operates under the auspices of the Division of Student Affairs. It provides high quality child care for the children of UWM students, faculty, staff, UWM Alumni Association members, and Hartford University School users (on a space-available basis). The Center utilizes flexible scheduling of children. Such scheduling accommodates traditional full-time schedules, varying full-and part-time schedules and the schedules of students.

Our Mission: The UWM Children's Center serves the University with distinction through the provision of high-quality education programs for children and families, UWM students and the professional child development community.

Our Vision: Our work transforms the understanding of education to include all children as capable learners, all teachers and families as full partners in the education system and quality programs for children as integral to the success of all communities.

Donations will go towards new musical instruments for our playgrounds, upkeep of our playgrounds and gyms, enhanced educational materials for our classrooms, and financial child care awards for parents in need at our Center.
