About the Project

The Leadership for the Common Core in Mathematics: Developing Teacher Leaders for Transitioning Instruction and Assessment to the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CCLM^2) is a collaborative effort among six school districts.
 
The aim of CCLM^2 is to build the capacity of schools and districts for implementation of the Wisconsin Common Core Standards in Mathematics.The long-term outcome of the project is improved student learning in mathematics in relation to this common set of shared learning expectations.

Goal 1.  Deepen teachers’ mathematics content knowledge of priority standards and domain progressions of the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics.

Goal 2.  Align math instruction and the assessment of student learning to theCommon Core State Standards.

Goal 3.  Develop leadership and facilitation skills for supporting colleagues’ transition to the Common Core.
