Organizations interested in creating new internships or converting previously unpaid internships into paid internships must:
-Offer internships that provide students meaningful, career-related experience.
-Not use Program dollars to displace the source of funds for existing paid internships.
-Consider University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee eligible junior and senior applicants for Program-funded internship opportunities.
-Communicate on a weekly basis with a Career Ready Internship Program representative during the course of the internship to ensure progress and accountability.
