Master of Science in EngineeringThe M.S. in Engineering is a college-wide program providing breadth by requiring a program of coursework and depth through participation in research or design synthesis. Master of Science in Computer Science

The M.S. in Computer Science is a departmental program offered by the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. The program provides students with a broad background in important aspects of computer science. Areas of concentration include software engineering, computer systems, computer networks, data security and artificial intelligence.

Integrated Bachelor of Science - Master of Science Program

To encourage outstanding undergraduate engineering and computer science students to continue their studies toward an advanced degree, the College of Engineering & Applied Science allows qualified students to begin their master’s degree course work in their senior year. Students admitted to the Integrated Program take six graduate credits as part of the BS degree requirements.

Doctor of PhilosophyThe Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering is conferred in recognition of marked scholarship in a broad field of knowledge as well as distinguished critical creative achievement within a special area of the general field. The Ph.D. is offered in all five CEAS engineering disciplines, as well as computer science.

Doctor of Philosophy in Medical InformaticsMedical Informatics is a field that combines medical science and information technology. The Ph.D. in Medical Informatics is an interdisciplinary program offered in collaboration with several academic units at UWM and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
