Objectives of the Materials Engineering Program

Objective 1: Graduates will have a successful career in materials engineering
and/or related fields, including pursuit of graduate education.

Objective 2: Graduates will be able to solve practical materials engineering
problems encountered in industry, which are related to structure, properties,
processing and performance.

Objective 3: Graduates will be able to incorporate contemporary issues in their
practice of materials engineering.
