College of Engineering & Applied Science Strategic Plan
In October of 2005 the UWM College of Engineering & Applied Science faculty unanimously adopted its latest Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan has provided a strong and structural opportunity for CEAS to meet its goals and reach new levels of academic achievement for faculty and students.
Goal ONE
Improve responsiveness to the needs of business, industry, government, and the scientific community.
Goal TWO
Attract highly qualified students with potential for intellectual development, innovation, and leadership. Retain and graduate each student, including women, minorities, part-time and financially disadvantaged.
Goal THREE
Improve financial situation through more novel education programs and fund raising.
Goal FOUR
Develop areas of research excellence for technology transfer, which will build partnerships with industry.
