Dr. Marjorie Piechowski has more than 25 years of experience in research administration. Prior to her current position with CEAS, Marjorie was the Director of Sponsored Programs and Research at DePaul University for 17 years and a Grant Information Specialist at Marquette University for three years. She also has taught undergraduate and graduate writing and literature courses at UWM, Marquette, and DePaul. Nationally recognized for her expertise in research administration and technical writing, Marjorie has made over 80 invited presentations at regional, national, and international meetings. As a consultant in grant and technical writing, her clients have included over 50 corporations, not for profit organizations, faith-based organizations, colleges and universities, municipalities, and government agencies. Marjorie’s degrees include a B.A. and M.A. in English from Marquette University and a Ph.D. in English from UWM.
Michelle M. Schoenecker

Michelle has nearly 15 years of extensive proposal writing and development experience. Prior to her current position with CEAS, Michelle worked for seven years as a Proposal Manager at Fiserv, a Wisconsin-based banking automation company. She also developed and managed grant proposals in various positions at Alverno College and the American Lung Association of Wisconsin. She also has published articles and a Web site about proposal best practices. Michelle holds a bachelor’s degree in professional communications from Alverno College and is pursuing a master’s degree in English from UWM, specializing in professional writing.
