Brief Bio: Sruthi graduated from Osmania University College of Engineering (Hyderabad, India) with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. She has an M.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of South Florida (Tampa) and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Industrial Engineering at UWM. Her research interests include Occupational Ergonomics, Patient Care Ergonomics, and Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorders.

Mojtaba Heydar

Brief Bio: Mojtaba Heydar received his B.S. in Industrial Engineering and his M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering both form Azad University-South Tehran Branch, Iran. He is currently a PhD student in the department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at UWM. His research interests include operations research, transportation and logistics, theory and applications of scheduling, meta-heuristics, production and inventory planning and control, multi-criteria decision making, fuzzy logic and statistical methods and applications.

Abdelhakim Abdelhadi

Brief Bio: Mr. Abdelhadi received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Yarmouk University/Jordan and his M.S. in Industrial Engineering from The University of Jordan/Jordan and is currently a doctoral candidate in the department of Industrial Engineering at UWM. His Interests include Lean Manufacturing and Group Technology.

Brief Bio (written in 3rd person): Liping Li graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai, China) with B.S. and M.S. in Bio-Medical Engineering. After graduation, she worked in a software company for 5 years. Currently she is studying in the department of Industrial Engineering at UWM for her Master’s Degree.

Brief Bio: HUSSIEN graduated from University of Jordan with a M.Sc. in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering (Design and Manufacturing) and is currently a doctoral candidate in the department of Industrial Engineering at UWM. His research interests include optimization and operation research, logistics and supply chain, transportation cost modeling.

Mazen Hussein

Vijay Viswanathan.
Intended Degree: PhD

Brief Bio: Vijay graduated from Visweswaraya Technological University, India, with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 2005. He is a doctoral student in the department of Industrial Engineering at UWM since Jan 2006. His research focus is game-theoretic supply chain modeling and analysis. Vijay is a recipient of the Spring 2009 UWM Graduate Student Travel Award and a PhD student scholarship from POMS to attend it's College of SCM Mini-Conference in Orlando, FL in May 2009. He is currently President of the UWM Chapter of the Institute of Industrial Engineers(IIE) and has served as a reviewer for several conferences including the 2009 DSI Annual Meeting, 2010 AOM Annual Meeting and the 2010 Western DSI Annual Meeting.

Vijay Viswanathan

Anju Bhatt
Intended Degree: Ph.D

Brief Bio:
Anju is pursuing Ph.D in the Industrial Engineering at UWM and has qualified candidacy for the degree. Anju graduated from The University of the West Indies, Trinidad,West Indies with a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering. She has a M.Sc in Industrial and Systems Engineering from University of Southern California (Los Angeles, CA) and a M.Sc in Computer Science and Operations Research from Bowling Green State University (Bowling Green, OH). Anju has work experience both in the US and in Trinidad in the industry and has been teaching as an assistant at the engineering department at UWM. She was the vice president of the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) and is a current member of IIE and Institute of Operations Research and Management Sciences (INFORMS).
Her research interests include Health Care System Management, Optimization, Stochastic Modeling, Logistics, Supply chain management and Production Systems.

AnjuBhatt
Pilwon Hur, Ph.D.
Post Doctoral Fellow
Dr. Hur obtained his PhD in Mechanical Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbaha-Champaign. Dr. Hur has developed mathematical tools to quantify the human postural control system to perturbations and applied these tools to firefighters and elderly population. Dr. Hur is currently working as a postdoctoral fellow to investigate the effects of glove and ladder rung design on the fall from ladders.

Pilwon Hur
Binal Motawar, M.S.
Binal is a PhD student in the Hand Rehabilitation Lab. She has a master’s degree in Biomechanics and a bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy. Her research are as of interest are neuromechanical bases of human movement, motor learning and biomechanics. She is currently investigating mechanisms behind delayed hand muscle relaxation in stroke patients. Her long term goal is to be involved in translational research in rehabilitation science.

Binal Motawar

Leah Enders, M.S.
Leah is a PhD student in the Hand Rehabilitation Lab. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, Swanson School of Engineering with a B.S in Bioengineering and a concentration in Biomechanics.  She is currently investigating the effect of frictional coupling between the hand and grip surface on power grip strate gies in healthy persons and persons with stroke She also assists in mentoring the undergraduate students of the laboratory.

Brief Bio: Raed Naebulharam received his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from King AbdulAziz University- Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Also, received his M.Sc. in Engineering Management from California State University-Northridge, USA. He is currently a PhD student in the department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at UWM. His research interests include production systems engineering, operations research, product realization, innovation and commercialization, and statistical methods and applications.
