Kate Madison, AICP

Kate Madison is a policy analyst at the Center. She received a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh and a Masters in Urban Planning from UW-Milwaukee along with a graduate certificate in Urban GIS. Prior to coming to the Center, Kate worked on several long range plans as a planner at the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, including the Regional Water Supply Plan, a Hazard Mitigation Plan for the City of Milwaukee, and the Kenosha County Smart Growth Plan. Kate's interests include urban neighborhood redevelopment, transit issues and job connectivity, affordable housing, economic development, and brownfield redevelopment. Kate is a member of the American Planning Association and a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
