Welcome to the May 7-8, 2009, Board of Regents meeting at the University
of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

It is always an honor to host the Regents and our colleagues from the UW System and UW campuses across the state. This year we have something exciting to showcase: our students! After many years of holding meetings in Milwaukee in the summer, the 2009 meeting in Milwaukee comes at a time when all of our students will still be on campus. We are going to take advantage of the new timing by introducing you to our students, including many involved in some amazing research projects. We look forward to welcoming you to our vibrant campus as our Spring Semester nears its conclusion.
