A number of new exams are planned for release in 2008. A new exam for the ACS Textbook Chemistry in Context (CT08) will be released in early spring Spanish versions of the General Chemsitry exam (GC08SP) and the Organic Exam (OR08SP) are also anticipated for spring release. In the fall, several exams will be released, provided that participation in trial testing of items that have been developed for them is strong. Please contact us at chmexams@uwm.edu if you are interested in participatiing in the trial testing phase of the development. These exams include, 2008 Organic (OR08) - fall release 2008 General Chemistry Conceptual (GC08C) - fall release 2008 Inorganic Exam (IN08) - fall release 2008 Diagnostic of Undergraduate Chemistry Knowledge (DUCK-08) - an end of undergraduate curriculum exam currently scheduled for fall 2008 release. Finally, we anticipate initial roll-out of electronic delivery of ACS Exams for a limited sub-set of exams. We will be holding focus groups for people interested in our electronic delivery platform at the 2008 Biennial Conference on Chemical Education in Bloomington, Indiana. |
