Swimming
Swimming
Your child will learn how to be safe around water, as well as how to become a stronger swimmer -- all through fun, supervised activities! Children in Aspen, Fox, Owl & Lynx Rooms will go swimming at the Klotsche Center on campus Monday and Wednesday afternoons. Children in Owl & Lynx Rooms will also swim on Friday afternoons. Our staff swim with the children, and in addition, certified lifeguards are always on duty. No additional cost for swimming.
Drama
Drama Club
Students can explore collaborative leadership and teamwork as they guide each other through this powerful introduction to the ins and outs of a dramatic production. With opportunities to design and build sets, create stage property, sing, dance and act, students will develop positive relationships with all ages, while learning and applying skills that will prepare them for future social and creative endeavors. At the end of this session, the children will perform the entertaining comedy, “Holka Polka.” The play will be performed on Thursday, August 17, at 7:00 p.m. Registration forms for Drama Club will be included in the summer packet available in June.

Children will need to be enrolled on Monday and Wednesday mornings during sessions C-F to attend all Drama Club practices. Drama Club also includes an additional fee—from approximately $15 (for Junior/ Senior Drama Dance, Junior Drama Extras, and Stage Crew) to approximately $35 for Senior Drama. This fee includes the cast pizza party on the day of the play performance.
karate
Karate
Available to all school-age children, karate can provide your child with many beneficial developmental and skill-building lessons, including development of a healthy mind, increased physical activity, stronger understanding of respect and much, much more! Classes meet on Monday afternoons (June 23—August 11) in the martial arts gym in the Klotsche Center Pavilion. Our staff will escort children to Karate Class prior to the classrooms’ regularly scheduled swimming time. Registration forms for Karate classes will be included in the summer packet available in June. The fee for the 8-week karate class is $40.

Field Trips:

Every Thursday, your child will have the opportunity to visit various places around southeastern Wisconsin. These trips will give your child a sense of adventure, while discovering and learning new things about the sites at the same time. Students will have the proper guidance and supervision to assure that they are getting the most out of the experience.
