Ph.D. Biomedical & Health Informatics
The department of Health Informatics & Administration participates in the Ph.D. in Biomedical and Health Informatics, an interdisciplinary doctoral program offered by UWM through collaboration between several academic units at UWM and the Medical College of Wisconsin. Participating units include:
- College of Engineering & Applied Science (CEAS)
- College of Health Sciences (CHS)
- College of Nursing (NUR)
- Lubar School of Business (LSB)
- School of Information Studies (SOIS)
- School of Public Health (SPH)
The Program is managed by a steering committee composed of members from the participating units and is housed in the UWM Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. The main goal of the PhD program is to prepare graduates to perform advanced research in the discipline and to assume leadership roles in medical and healthcare industries.
