Coursework & Advising

Once admitted to the Athletic Training major, students should call (414) 229-2758 to schedule an appointment with the College of Health Sciences academic advisor for athletic training students. The curriculum is tracked and sequenced, meaning that courses must be taken in the order outlined in the Curriculum Plan. Any deviations to this plan should be reviewed by the academic advisor and ATEP Director.

Scholarships

Current athletic training students should explore academic or need based scholarships on an annual basis. Scholarships are available through the College of Health Sciences, NATA Research & Education Foundation, Wisconsin Athletic Trainers’ Association, Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Association, and numerous other organizations or groups. Students are encouraged to submit applications for these and other scholarship opportunities.
