Interests & Expertise

  1. Conduct research in motor control and biomechanics to understand the functional deficits in several motor disorders.
  2. Develop physical therapy treatments for recovering motor function.
  3. Organize the scientific and technological knowledge generated by physical therapy into a coherent framework to promote recover of motor function.
  4. Develop graduate programs for training new professionals based on this framework.
  5. Teach motor learning, motor control, and biomechanics applied to physical therapy.
  6. Help to disseminate the scientific and technological knowledge to improve human health and wellness.
