The Human Performance & Sport Physiology Laboratory conducts research pertinent to expanding the scientific knowledge base that informs the physiological basis for injury prevention, re-conditioning, strength training, and sport performance. The research questions and projects of the lab range from basic to applied, and are often multi-disciplinary in nature.
As such, Human Performance & Sport Physiology Laboratory will frequently collaborate with other laboratories in the Department of Kinesiology as well as clinicians and researchers outside of the University. In addition to supporting faculty led research projects, the Human Performance & Sport Physiology Laboratory provides essential research opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students in Kinesiology, Athletic Training, and Physical Therapy as well as from other degree programs on campus.
