Office Hours

The International Student and Scholar Services office is open from 8am to 4:30pm (central daylight time) Monday through Friday. Our office is closed for legal holidays and weekends.

Walk-in Advising and Appointments

Walk-in appointments for immigration advising are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm. Walk-in appointments should only be for students who can have their questions answered in 15 minutes. If you anticipate needing more than 15 minutes, we highly suggest that you call our office to schedule an appointment. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (414) 229-4846 during business hours.  Appointments may not be scheduled for the same day as adequate preparation for your appointment is necessary.

Office Location

The International Student and Scholar Services office is located in Garland Hall Room 138. A map of campus is available by clicking on the following link: www.uwm.edu/map. There are also directions on getting to campus available on this website. Garland Hall is located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Downer and Hartford Avenues.
