Participants in UWM-sponsored travel abroad that is not for academic credit will still work with the CIE Study Abroad Office to complete certain critical, pre-departure requirements. This category of travel is specific to group travel, and the specific details of the travel are arranged exclusively by the trip leader. The CIE Study Abroad Office has no involvement or role in the planning and operation of these trips, and questions or concerns about them should be directed to the trip leader.
Financial arrangements are managed directly through the trip leader, though all participants are charged a $200 administration fee by the CIE Study Abroad Office. In addition to this fee, participants will also be responsible for the cost of CISI health insurance coverage.
