Nadia Hijab
Senior Fellow and Co-Director, Washington Office, Institute for Palestine Studies
Nadia Hijab is Senior Fellow and co-director, Washington DC office, of the Institute for Palestine Studies, an independent research organization whose flagship Journal of Palestine Studies is a leading resource on the Israeli-Arab conflict. Hijab's first book - Womanpower: The Arab debate on women at work - was published by Cambridge University Press, and she co-authored Citizens Apart: A Portrait of Palestinians in Israel (I. B. Tauris). She was Editor-in-Chief of the London-based Middle East magazine before joining the United Nations in New York where she served until 1999.
