Fall Programming - Taiwan Day 2011

FEATURED SPEAKER,  ECOARK DESIGNER, ARTHUR HUANG

To promote recycling and green building practices in Taiwan, architect Arthur Huang designed and built the EcoArk, a three-story exhibition hall constructed from 1.5 million recycled plastic bottles. Mr. Huang will discuss his ground-breaking construction techniques at a screening of a short documentary film on the project, ECOARK.

Arthur Huang is a Cornell and Harvard trained architect/engineer with a special interest in sustainable design. Arthur won several distinguished awards throughout his architectural career and was trained by several well-known international architecture/product design firms.
