Culture Cafe
Culture Café creates a time and a space for all globally-minded members of the UWM community to interact and get to know one another over coffee, snacks and a brief, informal presentation on the featured culture.
Each Culture Cafe features a different country or culture that is presented to the attendees by a UWM international student, faculty member or a return study abroad student.
Many different countries and cultures have frequented Culture Cafe since it's beginning in 2001, including Costa Rica, Armenia, Ireland, Japan, Turkey, Egypt, Cambodia, South Africa, Kyrgyzstan and Sweden, just to name a few.
Culture Cafe is held in Garland Hall room 104 from 2:00-3:00pm. All students are invited to attend and share their insights and expertise.
Fall 2009 dates are:
- September 24
- October 8 and 22
- November 5 and 19
- December 3
