Grant Programs
Collaborative Project in Learning Outcomes and High Impact Practices
CIPD and the First Year center are sponsoring an innovative grant program for the development of projects that will further recent campus success in improving the first year learning experience for UWM students.
Projects must be truly collaborative in the sense that they require teams that should include members from some or all of the following groups: faculty, teaching and non-teaching academic staff, advisors, teaching assistants, and undergraduate students.
Deadline for submissions is February 1st, 2012.

Growth Agenda for Wisconsin Grants Program
The Growth Agenda for Wisconsin Grants program seeks to fund projects that are bold in their vision, designed to transform programmatic or institution-wide practices, and have the potential to be sustained beyond the scope of the grant funding.
Priorities for funding will focus on projects that advance one or more of the three Strategic Goals of the Growth Agenda and model Inclusive excellence. These goals include:
-Increase the number of Wisconsin graduates
-Help create more well-paying jobs
-Build stronger communities.
Proposals are due to Tony Ciccone, Director, CIPD by January 15, 2012.
Center Scholars in Teaching and Learning
This annual program supports up to five full time faculty or teaching academic staff selected to work with the CIPD Director and Assistant Director on a year-long project related to the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL). See the Events page for current requests for proposals.
Wisconsin Teaching Fellows & Scholars
This program is designed for early career faculty and teaching academic staff as well as experienced faculty and teaching academic staff who share a passion and dedication for teaching and learning. Each participant in the WTF/WTS program undertakes a significant Scholarship of Teaching and Learning project, records the project's progress and disseminates the results in public forums.
