CLACS supports the work of both UWM faculty and Regional Faculty Associates through competitive travel grant competitions. Regional Faculty Associates may also apply for small grants to support conferences, speakers or cultural events that will enrich Latin American studies at their respective campuses. By serving as Secretariat for the North Central Council of Latin Americanists (NCCLA), CLACS promotes yet an additional scholarly network to strengthen Latin American studies in the upper Midwest.
