  • Elongate Ridges 5-20 Grains Thick  in Direction of Flow, Separated by Furrows





  • Streaking Pattern Parallel to Flow Direction






  • Occurs in both Lower and Upper Flow Regime





  • Lower Plane Bed - only Coarse Sands





  • Upper Plane Bed - all Grain Sizes





  • Upper Plane Bed is often Best Preserved
