Big Brothers/Big Sisters

CVSL provides a group BBBS activity each day of the week for students interested in mentoring. The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters is to put hope in a child's future by putting a friend in a child's life. Big Brothers Big Sisters matches children in Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties with a big brother or sister who will be a friend and role model.

Service activities include: Tutor/Mentor
The site-based mentoring program is an opportunity for volunteers to be matched with a child at a local elementary school. Activities are defined by the child and the BBBS coordinator, and might include tutoring and social/recreational activities. Since the program is located at a school, volunteers and their "littles" may have access to computer labs, gyms, libraries, and cafeterias.

TRANSPORTATION IS PROVIDED FOR UWM STUDENTS!

If you are interested, contact Laurie at lmarks@uwm.edu or just stop by the CVSL office!
