The Testing Center can help you whether you are taking a test to qualify for admission, to find out where you should be placed in UWM courses, to earn credit toward your degree or to gain admission to graduate or professional school. The Testing Center also serves as a resource for faculty, staff and the community through our exam and evaluation processing and our survey instrument design capability. UWM Online Test RegistrationYou can register for any of the Tests offered without leaving the comfort of your very own computer! You'll need your UWM Campus ID or Social Security Number to use the on-line registration form. Take a look at the Monthly Testing Calendar to see which tests are offered and when.

Tests Offered at UWMThe UWM Testing Center provides a variety of services to meet your testing and assessment needs. Whether you need to take your ACT test, placement test or test to earn college credit, the Testing Center can assist you.
National tests are those exams that are not unique to UWM and include things like the ACT, post-graduate admission tests such as the GRE and LSAT and exams for entrance into education programs. Whether you just want to learn more about the test themselves or find out when they're offered at UWM, this is the place to start.
New Freshman Testing ProgramAll new freshmen are required to take placement tests to determine their eligibility in math and/or English and have the option of taking placement exams in chemistry and foreign language. UW-Milwaukee is one of the largest UW Placement Testing Centers, so whether you're planning to come to UWM or go to one of our sister institutions, you can take your placement tests with us!
Exam ServicesThe UWM Testing Center offers test scoring and statistical reporting via email or printed copies. Most exam services, such as normal test processing are available to faculty, staff and teaching assistants at no charge. If charges are applicable, Testing Center staff will inform you prior to processing your job.
Evaluation ProcessingThe UWM Testing Center offers faculty and departmental course evaluation and questionnaire processing. Evaluation processing is available to academic departments at no charge. If charges are applicable, Testing Center staff will inform you prior to processing your job.
Assessment ServicesThe UWM Testing Center can provide assessment services, which are tailored to the needs of the customer e.g. creating a customized scantron sheet for a survey project, compiling data, reporting and data analysis. The Testing Center will accommodate such requests whenever possible however prior approval must be granted. Initial consultations are provided free of charge and pricing will be discussed at that time.
