Make sure you read all the information below about both Regional Testing and testing at UW-Milwaukee so you can choose the best option for you!
TESTING AT UW-MILWAUKEE
New Freshman Placement Sessions at UW-Milwaukee offer a series of tests scheduled for one day, and are only for incoming New Freshmen who have not yet completed any tests. This testing must be completed before you can register for classes. Your session will consist of the required math and English tests in the morning, and the optional tests in the afternoon if needed. Campus photo ID’s will be taken on this day.
Please make sure you have activated your ePanther ID and password before registering for a test date. If you have not, visit epantherid.uwm.edu to do so. No confirmation letters for testing will be sent by mail, so make sure to print or write down the information for your specific test date. If you include an email address when registering, you will be sent an information letter to that email account.
REGIONAL TESTING If you are admitted for the fall semester and do not live in the Milwaukee area, placement testing is available at other UW campuses on several Saturdays in March and April through the Regional Testing program. Testing at a regional location will allow you to take the UW-System placement tests at a site more convenient for you. Registration for regional testing begins February 1
st. Please note that there will be no Chemistry or ESL-PIC (English as a Second Language) testing available on any Regional test dates.
UW-Milwaukee will host regional testing for students attending other UW schools and will not offer the chemistry and ESL PIC placement tests on these particular Saturdays.
