LGBT 101 is a professional development workshop that provides foundational knowledge about LGBT+ communities and identities. Participants will learn: a) LGBT-related terminology b) ways to dispel myths and misconceptions, and how to avoid reinforcing negative stereotypes and c) components of sexuality and gender identity/expression. This training is intended to prepare new participants and members of the Safe Space program for Part II: Ally Development.
