As instructors, we have significant control over the climate we shape. How do we leverage the climate in the service of learning? How do we shape the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical aspect of the classroom climate? What are the course design implications of the classroom climate for student learning and student development?
This workshop assumes advance reading of Chapter 6 of How Learning Works (2010). The chapter will be mailed to registrants two weeks in advance.
Participants who register by May 15th for a total of four chapter sessions (including any of the four spring 2013 sessions), will receive a free copy of the book by June 1st. Notify Cheryl Jones, CIPD Program Associate, of your commitment and she will order your copy.
