If you are working directly with students, whether teaching, advising, or providing administrative support, you need to manage records about those students efficiently and securely. This workshop will introduce participants to relevant records retention and policy requirements surrounding student records, including electronic records. The workshop will also discuss best practices for managing your student records in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). New employees, faculty, and teaching assistants are especially encouraged to attend.
