Your CV or curriculum vitae is a critical first communication to employers in academic and research fields. This workshop will cover the important elements of a CV, including strategies for how to showcase your particular knowledge and experiences effectively. We will also discuss obtaining letters of recommendation for your academic job search. Participants are encouraged to bring any CV-related questions they might have. It's helpful to bring a copy of your CV or a draft with you to refer to as we go through the material in the workshop. This workshop is best suited for Ph.D. students planning to apply for academic faculty positions.
