The purpose of the Energy Conversion Efficiency Laboratory (ECEL) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is to promote the efficient use of energy in all walks of life. While vast amounts of energy remain in the world, the cost of the energy will continue to increase. Therefore, significant cost savings are obtainable through the more efficient use of electricity and heating facilities in industrial and domestic environments.
The ECEL is dedicated towards performing basic research into energy conversion processes, assisting companies and government entities in making wise decisions concerning the minimization of energy consumption, and educating anyone interested in energy issues. Please contact us if you have any questions.
