LUBRICANT COST ANALYSIS AND INFORMATION


Basic Results:
Royal Purple uses 2.28 % less power than HD RotoFluid. Summit uses 1.37 % less power than HD RotoFluid. (Synoil analysis is incomplete at this time.)

Advanced Analysis:
Converting the percentage differences into dollar differences requires a known cost per kilowatt-hour. We assume that our cost is $0.0708 / kWhr.

Below is the calculated cost of running the different lubircants on a 13 kW base compressor.

Note: the compressor uses 13 kW with HD RotoFluid but it uses less power with other lubricants which will be translated into the cost.
