UWM Housing

ESL students are welcome to stay on campus in university housing when space is available. Some ESL students stay in one of the Sandburg Halls or at Kenilworth Square (a short distance from the campus). Preference is given to students who stay for longer periods, such as one semester or a full academic year. A variety of rooms and meal plans are available.

Students should request housing as far in advance as possible to reserve space. UWM housing for the Fall Semester fills up early. Short-term stays of one or two months are often possible in Spring Semester and Summer.

Any ESL student interested in UWM housing should be sure to mark the box on page 2 of the ESL application form. If housing is available, the ESL Office will send the student a housing contract. The student must return the signed contract and pay a deposit to reserve space.

Neighborhood Housing

Interested in living in the UWM area but not in university housing? The Neighborhood Housing Office offers information here: http://www.aux.uwm.edu/nho/

I really enjoyed staying in Milwaukee and the ESL Program. Milwaukee is my second home!
