Payment Information
To reserve a place in the IEP a student must pay the registration fee and a tuition deposit at the time of registration. Full payment is due before the first day of class.
Written notification of cancellation must be received in the ESL Programs Office 30 days before the first day of the course for full refund of tuition deposit ($300). There is no refund of the registration fee. No refund is made when notice of cancellation is received after the first day of class of a semester, session or month for which the student is enrolled.

- Bank check: The check must be issued by a bank that has an affiliation with a bank in the U.S. Make the check out to: University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
- Money order: Make the money order out to: University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
Mail the payment with the signed ESL application form to the ESL Office. If the check is mailed separately, be sure to include a copy of the invoice. DO NOT mail cash or traveler’s checks.

Only new students may pay the registration fee and deposit by ePayment. Credit card must be issued from a bank that operates in the U.S.
Payment can be made at UWM at the Cashier’s Office in Mitchell Hall, Room 285,
by debit card (issued by a U.S. bank), traveler’s checks or cash.
