Ellen Nuss is a new addition to the UWM ESL Program. After finishing a Master's degree in TESOL and teaching in the Intensive English Program at the University of Northern Iowa, she completed a Fulbright Fellowship teaching English in Madrid, Spain. Ellen loves her job because she believes that if people can communicate effectively across cultures and languages, the world's people will be better understood and more peaceful. When she isn't teaching, Ellen enjoys spending time outside near Lake Michigan, cooking, and reading online news articles.
