Introduction to the Division
The Division of Finance and Administrative Affairs provides infrastructure support to the University community.
Our departments perform the accounting functions, plan for building construction and remodeling, maintain healthy and safe research environments, provide security and protective services, clean and maintain the campus buildings and grounds, ensure fiscal integrity of campus financial operations, and provide legal advice and representation. Every employee in Finance and Administrative Affairs is expected to be a professional who provides superb customer service.
Like most research institutions, UWM is a large complex organization that can sometimes be difficult to navigate. Finance and Administrative Affairs strives to accomplish goals in an expeditious way, yet consistent with the myriad of policies and regulations that govern how state agencies operate.
