Request to Recruit

        Complete Posting Details Tab

        Indicate documents Applicants need to submit for application

        Load Position Description, Organization Chart, Screening Form (unless using Evaluative Criteria), and Position Justification Form (if required) on Documents Tab

        Complete Budget Tab

        Add Posting Specific Questions (only if the department would like to use this option)

        Create a Guest User Account or Utilize Evaluative Criteria for Screening and set up Committee Members

        Submit forward for Approval

 

Request to Interview

        If this is a continuous recruitment, contact HR before taking any action

        Change Applicant Statuses under Review Applicants by moving in workflow

        Load Completed Screen Form on Documents Tab or ensure Evaluative Criteria entered

        For Faculty Recruitments, Load copy of Print Advertisement scanned from journal on Documents Tab as "Other Document"

        For Faculty and Instructional Academic Staff Recruitments, Load document listing recruitment efforts including names and dates of contacts or conference attendance to diversity the application on Documents Tab as "Other Document"

        Submit forward for Approval starting with the Originator/Supervisor

 

Request to Hire

        If hiring multiple individuals from one recruitment, contact HR before taking any action

        Change Applicant Statuses under Review Applicants by moving in the worfklow

        Load Letter of Offer, Compensation Analysis, and AARF (this can be done at the divisional level if not normally handled in your department)

        Complete Hiring Proposal Tab

    Submit forward for Approval starting with the Originator/Supervisor Letter of Offer Accepted

        Change Applicant Statuses under Review Applicants-only hired applicant should be remaining

        Hired applicant should have status of Offer Letter Accepted

        If you have not notified applicants with the email option of non-selection, you must send a letter of regret. A copy of the letter of regret should be sent to HR for archival purposes.

Letter of Offer

When Criminal Records Check is complete, the Letter of Offer is sent to the candidate with the following attachments to be returned within 5 days from receipt:

Appointment

  • Signed letter of offer -- Original
  • Personnel Action Form -- Form Set
  • Position Description (signed by supervisor and new hire) -- original

Orientation Information and Documents

Resignation/Termination
