Account Termination Policy


Notifying the Systems Department

When an employee with accounts on the FAA network is leaving his/her department; the Systems department must be notified as soon as the employee leaves, if not earlier.

Disabling of Accounts

When an employee leaves his/her accounts will be disabled by the Systems department. If the Systems department is not notified that an employee is leaving his/her account will be disabled within one week of the employee leaving, unless prior arrangements have been made for the account to remain active.

After six months of the employee's departure, the account will be reviewed for deletion from the FAA Active Directory.
