| March 25 | Approximate date the Schedule of Classes will appear on PAWS and Online. |
| April 8 | Date that students who are eligible to enroll may access their Enrollment Shopping Cart and Enrollment Appointment time on PAWS. NOTE: All holds must be cleared before students can enroll. See the Enrollment Appointments website for more information. |
| April 15 | Beginning of priority enrollment by appointment. PAWS will generally be available for enrollment from 6:00 am to midnight Monday-Saturday and noon-midnight on Sunday. |
| May 4 | Open enrollment period begins. |
| July 16 | Last day to submit a complete undergraduate application (freshmen, transfer, re-entry) including all relevant documentation for the fall semester. |
| July 27 | Approximate date that fall tuition assessments will appear on PAWS for enrolled students. |
| August 2 | Last day to register without paying $200 minimum tuition deposit. |
| August 27 | Deadline for enrolled students to pay full fees or a minimum $200.00 tuition deposit to hold classes. |
| August 28 | Cancellation of registration of students who fail to meet August 27 payment deadline. |
| August 29 | Final date for Fall 2013 waitlist process run. Waitlists will be purged after the final run. |
| September 2 | Labor Day - University Closed. |
| September 2 | Last day to withdraw (drop all classes) for the term without charge or for full refund. More information at withdrawal.uwm.edu. |
| September 3 | First day of classes |
| September 3 | Start of the Late Registration Period - $50.00 late registration fee assessed for students registering for classes for the first time in the term. |
| September 6 | Deadline for Fall 2013 undergraduate graduation application submissions via PAWS. |
| September 16 | Last day for late registration. Last day to add full semester courses or change sections. Last day to change courses from credit/no credit or audit to graded basis or vice versa. |
| September 17 | Deadline for Fall 2013 graduate student graduation application submissions via PAWS. |
| September 30 | Last day to drop full-term courses without W on record. |
| October 25 | Last day to drop or withdraw from full-term courses. |
| Nov. 27-Dec. 1 | Thanksgiving Recess - No Classes (UWM offices are open on the 27th and 29th) |
| December 12 | Last day of classes |
| December 13 | Study day |
| December 14, 16 -21 | Final Exam Period |
| December 21 | Last day of the Fall 2012 term. Date of degree conferral for Fall 2012 graduates. |
| December 22 | Graduation ceremony |
| December 27 | Priority deadline for instructor grading in PAWS per faculty policy. More information on instructor grading at grading.uwm.edu. |
| January 2, 2014 | Final call deadline for instructor grading (final grade run date). All grades not entered into PAWS by 4:30pm will result in a value of NR, or not reported. After this point, all grade entries need to be submitted as a grade change. |
| January 3, 2014 | Approximate date that Academic Standing and Dean's Honors appear for fall. |
