On behalf of the entire Division
of Student Affairs I would like to welcome you to UW-Milwaukee.
Whether you are new, returning, or transferring to UWM from another institution there is an entire team of faculty and staff available to support you during your college experience. To get you started on the right track, Winter Welcome will provide you with opportunities to connect with other students and prepare for a successful academic career.
As you get to know UWM, you will quickly begin to feel comfortable with our vibrant campus and the numerous opportunities to get the most from your time as a student. As a member of a diverse community, I hope you will explore all there is to offer by becoming an active part of campus life, joining a student organization, and attending campus events. Use your UPass to discover the surrounding neighborhoods, museums, and sports venues and be sure to cheer on your UWM Panther sports teams to victory.
Panther P.R.I.D.E. exists throughout the UWM community. It is both the spirit and excitement we feel towards our campus and athletics teams as well as how you can engage academically and socially. I hope that you take advantage of all that the Division of Student Affairs has to offer you including student organizations, campus recreation, University Housing, events and activities, health services, a Career Development Center and much more.
