Financial Specialist 4

The Department of Financial Aid is seeking resumes from individuals interested in part-time seasonal limited term appointment, up to 1043 hours as Financial Specialist 4. These two positions serve as part of the Student Services Advising and Outreach Unit and report to the Assistant Director of Financial Aid. The primary function of the positions is to process financial aid application information, primarily various aspects of the financial aid verification process and provide customer service to students and families on an "as needed" basis.

Knowledge/Skills Required:

• Ability to work on-site
• Knowledge of PAWS/PeopleSoft
• have a general knowledge of financial aid processing
• Ability to reconcile data for accuracy and quality assurance
• Well-developed problem solving skills
• Excellent oral and written skills
• Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines

Type of Appointment and Salary:

This is a limited term, part-time, seasonal position as Financial Specialist 4. The rate of pay for this position is $15.547/hour. Desired start date is February 18, 2008 or sooner.
