Apply for Financial Aid
All students and families are strongly encouraged to apply for financial aid every year. The first step in the process includes filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This should be done online at www.fafsa.gov. Click on the image below to be taken to the FAFSA site for more information and to start your application.
Please note that March 1 is our priority filing date for enrollment that begins the following fall. However, many funds are limited, so you are encouraged to file as soon after January 1 as possible. Once the priority filing date has passed, you are still encouraged to apply for aid. As long as you are still enrolled in classes or the enrollment period hasn’t begun, you will be offered aid from the programs that have funding remaining at the time your file is reviewed. The final date to submit a FAFSA is actually June 30 AFTER the academic year is over. (i.e., June 30, 2013 for the 2012-2013 academic year.) You must still be enrolled in classes in order for financial aid be offered and any loans must be certified while you are still enrolled as well. The entire process can take 6-10 weeks.
The grey links to the left offer additional information on the application process, types of aid, and details on completing online loan requirements.
