Boerner Botanical Gardens

Bradley Center Sports and Entertainment Corporation

Built through the generosity of the late Jane Bradley Pettit in memory of her father, Harry Lynde Bradley. (Bradley was a co-founder and chairman of the Allen-Bradley Company.) The Bradley Center opened in October 1988. The Bradley Center is home to three sports tenants: the NBA Milwaukee Bucks, the AHL Milwaukee Admirals and the Marquette University Golden Eagles (NCAA) men's basketball team. The facility hosts an estimated two million people each year.

The newest addition to Milwaukee’s world-class visitor attractions is the summer home of the sailing vessel Denis Sullivan, Milwaukee’s own Great Lakes tall ship. Irish Cultural and Heritage Center of Wisconsin

The museum's $100-million renovation and expansion project, completed in 2001, includes the Santiago Calatrava-designed Quadracci Pavilion, Burke Brise Soleil and the Cudahy Gardens. The internationally acclaimed Calatrava project was named by Time Magazine as the No. 1 architectural achievement in the country for 2001. The museum is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday. Admisson.

This year-round, indoor marketplace for specialty food vendors is surrounded by outdoor seasonal stalls during the growing season. The Public Market is located at downtown’s entrance to the Historic Third Ward, once headquarters for the area’s produce brokers. The market also hosts cooking classes and offers nutrition education and outreach initiatives. Open 10 a.m.-7p.m. Tuesday-Friday; 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday; and 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday.

Mitchell Park Conservatory

Pabst Theater

This National Landmark Theater, built in 1895 by Milwaukee brewing magnate Captain Frederick Pabst, was the first all-electric theater in the country. The Pabst hosts over 200 performances a year featuring the world’s great artists. Free, public tours Saturdays at 11:30 a.m. Tours at other times by arrangement.
