Preview Days
Preview Days offer you and your guests a chance to get a head start on your educational career. These half-day programs are offered six times throughout the year. They are designed for high school juniors and seniors who are interested in learning more about the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. You will have the opportunity to:

• Tour the beautiful UWM campus
• Meet with an academic advisor and find out more about your major
• Learn more about housing, admission, financial aid, faculty expectations, student life and much more
• See why UWM has become the school of choice for thousands of students each year!

• July 26-27, 2009 - SPECIAL EVENT - Preview Day Overnight Visit Opportunity (this date only)
  The Preview Day overnight visit is limited to 2010 high school graduates only.  PLEASE NOTE:  EVENT HAS REACHED CAPACITY, REGISTRATION NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

The Preview Day overnight visit (July 26-27, 2009) is a great way to experience the fun side of UWM! Students will get an opportunity to:

• Stay overnight in Sandburg   Residence Halls

• Eat at the Sandburg Cafeteria

• Use the Union Recreation Center (billiards, ping pong and bowling)

• Use of the outdoor basketball, volleyball and tennis courts

• Meet current UWM students as well as other prospective high school students

Parents and guests can find hotel information at www.milwaukee.org and are encouraged to come to the Welcome/Campus Tour on Sunday and then join us again on Monday, July 27^th at 9:30am for the Preview Day program.

Sunday, July 26th

3:15pm	Check in begins (parents/guests and students)
3:30-5:00pm	Welcome/Campus Tour (parents/guests and students) Say goodbye to parents/guests
5:00pm	Icebreaker Activity
5:30pm   6:30-9:00pm	Dinner in Sandburg Cafeteria Union Recreation Center Outdoor Volleyball, Basketball and Tennis

Monday, July 27

9:15 - 12:00pm	Preview Day check in begins in the Union Ballroom, 1st Fl.
	Take a tour of the beautiful UWM campus
	Meet with an academic advisor and find out more about your major
	Learn more about housing, admission, financial aid, faculty expectation, student life and MUCH more!  See why UWM has become the school of choice for thousands of students each year!

Students are required to attend the ENTIRE program, which begins on Sunday at 3:30 pm and ends on Monday, 12:00 pm

 Preview Day Coordinator

A $30 registration fee is required for the Preview Day overnight visit. This fee will cover the cost of a bed in a shared double room, entertainment, dinner and breakfast.
