Welcome to UWM's third annual 10,000 Steps Program! This program was designed to get the UWM community to incorporate more physical activity into their busy daily lives.
Track your activity each week and win great prizes.
Program runs April 5-May 2, 2009. Registration begins online March 30. Registration deadline April 12. First 100 students to register receive a free pedometer!
To Register/Log Steps:
Click Register link to register and then pick up your pedometer at The Klotsche Center Information Desk during one of the following times:
-Tuesday, March 31, 7:00-11:00 a.m.
-Wednesday, April 1, 10:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
-Thursday, April 2, 7:00-11:00 a.m.
-Monday, April 6, 10:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Log the number of steps (using pedometer provided) OR minutes of activity each day using the online activity log.

***Log in using your UWM ID and password
***Enter daily activities in Steps and/or Minutes
***Click Submit
*LAST DAY TO SUBMIT STEPS IS MIDNIGHT ON MAY 2!*
At the conclusion of the program, awards will be given to: the top 10 participants (most steps accumulated) and the most improved participant, and also random participation awards will be given (all participants that complete the program are eligible for that drawing).

Final Celebration – Thursday, May 7, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Please join us at the Final Celebration in The Klotsche Center/Pavillion 2nd Floor Commons. Receive your awards, socialize with other students and enjoy some healthy refreshments! The drawing will take place for all people who attend the event. You must be present to win!
UWM Faculty/Staff: Your participation is welcomed. You may track your progress online but only students are eligible for awards. In addition, the activities at the Klotsche Center are only availabe for members of Recreational Sports & Facilities.
