Barbara Teske-Young joined the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2006 and currently serves as a Clinical Field Liaison in the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare’s Field Department. Prior to this, she served as an Associate Researcher/Project Coordinator on a federally funded research project in UWM’s Center For Addiction and Behavioral Health Research (CABHR).
Ms. Teske-Young earned her Masters of Social Work from the School of Social Welfare here at UWM and a Bachelors of Science in Child & Family Services from the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at Iowa State University.
She has a variety of professional experience in the human service field including in the administrative, managerial, clinical, research and case management areas. Her main areas of practice have involved mental health, corrections and child & family therapy.
