Wendy Volz Daniels comes to UWM's Social Work Program with more than 14 years of direct practice experience working with children, youth and families in a variety of settings. Her experience includes work in juvenile corrections, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, a mental health clinic, residential and day treatment programs, public schools, a university medical clinic and a county human service agency.
Daniels has provided field instruction to both undergraduate and graduate students from serveral universities. Previous faculty appointments include that of adjunct instructor in the Social Work Department at Marian College in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and a part-time clinical instructor at Louisiana State University Medical Center's School of Allied Health Professions, Early Childhood Development Clinic in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Volz Daniels has a BS from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and an MSW from Loyola University in Chicago. Having worked in both the metropolitan Chicago and New Orleans areas, she is familiar with issues of urban youth and families.
